“No Reid Protests” Daily Universe Statement

Fellow liberal-minded friends,
Rebecca Warthen wrote a letter to the Daily Universe today (October 3rd) entitled “No Reid Protests” in which she accused BYU liberal democrats of embarrassing and misrepresenting BYU last spring with the Cheney protest.  The only reasons she gave as to why we protested are 1) he is politically charged and 2) it was an inappropriate political statement. She went on to call us hypocrites after finding out that Harry Reid has been invited to speak.   I have already written her an email correcting her and letting her know what I think.  I hope you all do to.
