Moral, or situational?

The debate over calling mass killings of Armenians by Turks in 1915 a genocide will soon be brought to the House for a vote.   When Bush ran for President in 2000 he ensured that “our nation properly recognizes a genocidal campaign that defies comprehension,” refering to these events.  Bush now refuses to refer to it as a genocide because it would do “great harm to our relations with a key ally….in the global war on terror.”  Incredible.
