Thursday night we’re gonna party like it’s 2008!

In honor of America Recycles Week, we are sending you this weekly newsletter in a completely paper-free form.  You’re welcome.

But seriously, in case you haven’t heard, this is the week for embracing that inner environmentalist and doing what you can to make sure this good ‘ol world of ours hangs around for the next few millennia, at least.  For our part, we’re sponsoring a “Recycle Your Vote” initiative all this week.  Here’s how it works – you bring us a plastic bottle, we drive it with all the other bottles to be recycled at Provo’s compost station, and for your great effort you get to cast a vote for your favorite 2008 presidential candidate.  So not only can you make sure your political hero is crowned the “King/Queen of Green,” but also support plastics recycling on campus, which to this point is not offered by the university.  So come by, drop off your plastics, and join in the fun!   We’re at a booth just east of the Cougareat every day this week from 10-2!

DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE DEBATE PARTY!!!

For our meeting this week, we’ll be chilling in 240 SWKT starting at 6:00 PM, chowing down some serious pizza and goodies, and watching the presidential class of 2008 throw down!  We welcome cheers, jeers, and general political philosophisizing!  (And hey, we’ll even get you home in time to watch “The Office.”)
