Although the Church is neutral in party politics, it is common for political and government leaders to pay brief calls on Church leadership. The half-hour meeting focused mostly on family values.
The New York Times poses an interesting question, is Obama a Mac and Clinton a PC? I think it’s a legitimate proposition.
This is especially true for the two remaining Democrats, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Reporters covering the candidates have already resorted to traditional analysis of style — fashion choices, manner of speaking, even the way they laugh. Yet, according to design experts, the candidates have left a clear blueprint of their personal style — perhaps even a window into their souls — through the Web sites they have created to raise money, recruit volunteers and generally meet-and-greet online.
On one thing, the experts seem to agree. The differences between hillaryclinton.com and barackobama.com can be summed up this way: Barack Obama is a Mac, and Hillary Clinton is a PC. Read the rest of this entry »

Get your primary grove on! Come watch the returns with your favorite democratic friends this Tuesday (Feb. 5) in 445 of the MARB on campus, from 7-10PM. Who will win Utah - Ron Paul or Mitt Romney? Will Obama beat (Bill) Clinton? Who will win in Alaska? How crazy can Wolf Blizter get? We’ll watch CNN (or Fox News if we feel like heckling) and see who comes out ahead in the many primaries on Tuesday. We’ll even have a FANTASY ELECTION CHALLENGEwhere you pick who you think will win each state, and the person who gets the most right will win a FREE TSHIRT! I sit here, even minutes later, in disbelief at the following video. However, no one should be totally surprised that a network like Fox News could come up with something illogical and far from reality. So here you are, an explanation on how George W. Bush is known for giving “some of the most eloquent and visionary speeches ever delivered by an American President,” just like the Gettysburg Address!
